Capt Jehangir Rustomji is the Founder Director of RMPES, with wide ranging experience in the Marine field, be it floating assets, ports & terminal or engineering services.

He has extensive experience in the operations and technical management of AHTSVs, AHTs and Harbour Tugs, including planning and supervision of dry dockings in leading offshore companies. He also looked after technical and operational management of a Hook up cum Construction Crane Barge with supporting AHT, including project mobilization & support till demobilization.

He has worked with Homa Engineering Works, a leading Ship Repair Company, overseeing the Refit and Reactivation of ONGC’s AHTSV Samudrika 17 at Mazagaon Docks up to successful re commissioning. He also handled Refit planning, coordination and execution for Indian Coastguard ships directly offloaded or as subcontracted with Mazagaon Docks.

Reactivated a laid up ocean going tanker for Raj Shipping Ltd. The ship was made ready for active trading service, after all repairs and surveys were successfully completed.

At United Shippers Ltd, a leading stevedoring company, he oversaw the operations and technical management of a Mini Bulk Carrier and a Log Carrier for bulk carriage of mineral cargoes. In addition, he handled the takeover protocols and delivery on behalf of the owners when the vessels were sold.

He has also worked in DP World, a multinational Container Terminal Operater, in Port & Terminal operations.

He is a former Master Mariner who has sailed extensively on Oil and Chemical Tankers, including ULCCs, VLCCs and FSOs, where he was also involved in their conversions and commissioning as Floating Terminals in South East Asia, namely Indonesia.

He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London and a Fellow of the Indian Council of Arbitration.
